Allen Scrigner - SHISSO
After collaborations in avant-garde projects (Petrolio) like player and performer, the need of a personal vision of sound was heavy. So, in 2005 SHISSO comes to life. Inspired by Kubrick movies, Orwell books, music, politics, and , as obvious, his conscience, the first steps were made with some rough recordings, very claustrophobic and a real dark mood.
In December 2006, he joined a improvisation in the big and unexplored cave "Grotta Caterina" inspired by the Pauline Oliveros composition named Deep Listening.
SHISSO has been member of PETROLIO project, playing electronics and
toured in the North-Italy area.
In 2007 the first concrete results, with more finished tracks, and a mini-tour in Italy with other musicians.
In Summer 2008, Lind Bohm, from Krautnoise, discovers Shisso music on the web and propose him to release his work and also offers his personal support and last but not least his friendship.
The result is the album "WEIRD CINEMA", a electro-acoustic mix of all thoughts, fears and hopes of a common man , cuffed on a chair, forced to watch to the screen.
