Psychenaturadatura is the solo project of Sasha-Liviu Stoianovici, romanian visual and
sound artist. Coming from the psych/experimental romanian music scene, Sasha-Liviu
explores the sound in a manner that is far from being ''orthodox''- especially in that
part of Europe. He works with layered sounds which may come from different sources:
synthesizers, prepared electronic toys, traditional string instruments (such as
baglama-saz or cobza), various reeds, jaw's harps, fiels recordings.

Sasha's solo research towards a sound that combines these two extremes - the wooden instrument and the electronic one.

A logical conclusion of his current work with NU & APA NEAGRA, romanian group of psych/improvised music.

Sasha-Liviu Stoianovici was born in Timisoara, Romania. Studied Fine Arts, at the West
University of Timisoara. From 2006, after some years of teaching, works as a freelancer
(visual arts, theater music, sociology/anthropology-connected issues).
