SHISSO - ZEI

ZEI is a Greek word that means “life”. At first I was inspired by the figure of the Greek revolutionary Alekos Panagulis , and by recent Greece chaos. Then, personal issues came, but I would have not changed the title, because, after all, this word ZEI(life) sounded nicer than before. ZEI is also 2010 ‘s funeral , what is remaining are ashes and soot. Some spark. This is claustrophobic music, composed in lack of space and time, just to exorcize this terrible year and let it go, but without forgetting it. SHISSO, December 11, 2011
